Car wash

Here's Kole washing the car for me. He was very excited to use the multi-colored soap. I think I ended up spending about 5 dollars just for the soap. Oh we'll, Good Times for him.

Future F1 racers

Kole was very excited that his big 10 year old cousin was able to play and race with him for a few hours today. Unfortunately there was not enough time to go out and race the atv's. "What the SNAP". I know they both would have liked that as well.

Tour de Prosser

I had yesterday off so I took advantage of the daylight and went on a little 30 miler. It was still a little cold (38) but I now have a nice windbreaker/rain coat thanks to our trip to California. I wore my Garmin 305 watch so I could download info like my pace, speed, elevation, grade, heart rate, etc. Here is a screen shot of the map around Prosser I took. It was fun getting outside again but I forgot how the smallest amount of wind feels like a hurricane pushing against you.

Scene of the crime?

After the Prologue (sat) we walked around the city waiting for the crowds to leave and also checking out bicycle shops. We came across this little Astana rig parked in a alley next to the hotel the team was staying at. Apparently someones bike(s) was taken from a team Astana van in an alley next to the hotel.

Winner of stage 1 Francisco Mancebo

Levi Leipheimer (2nd), and Michael Rogers (3rd)

Lance Armstrong (in the front of this group) and others in the first group behind the three leaders coming to the finish line.

I stole the below picture from Denelle's blog (thanks). Lots of Linds and one of me. We had a great weekend and hardly even noticed the horrible, nasty, crapy weather.

Womens Criterium

On Sunday we went to Santa Rosa to watch the tour come into town after they rode 107 miles in pure hell. It was gusting 60 mph and raining non stop. We got to Santa Rosa early to watch the womens crit race. It was pretty crazy watching these lovely ladies rip around the corners when there was standing water on the road. Winner was Emilia Fahlin, from team columbia highland.
